Peter C. Merani, Esq., Principal Partner
Peter C. Merani is the founding member of the Law Offices of Peter C. Merani P.C. He founded the firm in 1993. Mr. Merani has litigated many cases, including thousands of personal injury claims, tens of thousands of insurance claims, and thousands of restitution cases on behalf of his clients. Mr. Merani has extensive trial experience in handling matters such as no-fault litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, labor law, lead poising cases, general negligence, insurance coverage, insurance fraud, bad faith litigation, and health care. Mr. Merani also has extensive experience in general litigation cases and debt collection. Mr. Merani regularly drafts policy and forms for major carriers and provides counsel concerning claim handling procedures. Additionally, he is highly experienced in evaluating coverage issues. Mr. Merani is the firm's managing principal attorney. Before founding the firm, he was a staff attorney for a large insurance company.
Mr. Merani counsels clients in business law and transactional matters including contract negotiations, school law, business structure, construction matters, employment issues and SEC disputes.
Peter C. Merani was admitted to the practice of law in New York, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C. He is admitted to the United States District Court of the Southern District and Eastern District of New York and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the New York State and District of Columbia Bar Associations. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from St. John's University School of Law in 1992 and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the College of Business Administration at St. John's University in 1989. Mr. Merani has served as a lecturer for continuing legal education programs in No-Fault Insurance Law. He has also conducted seminars for insurance companies in the area of No-Fault Insurance Law. Mr. Merani has served as a program teacher and coordinator for the Street Law Trial Program. Mr. Merani has been a recognized by Lawyers of Distinction in insurance law since 2018.

Samuel A. Kamara, Esq., Senior Partner
Samuel A. Kamara joined the firm in 2003. Mr. Kamara's practice concentration includes trial practice, federal litigation, fraud litigation, and appellate practice. Mr. Kamara has extensive trial experience taking many favorable verdicts in no-fault matters and fraud claims. He has successfully litigated many federal court cases for our clients, including but not limited to Boston Post Road et al. v. Allstate Insurance Company, 03 CIV 06154 before Judge Kenneth M. Karas and Boston Post Road a/a/o Ana Artega et al. v. Allstate Insurance Company, v. Allstate Insurance Company 03 CIV 3923 before Judge Richard Conway Casey. He has also been awarded many successful arbitration and appellate decisions in various jurisdictions.
Mr. Kamara currently chairs the Board of Trustees at the Woodbridge United Methodist Church in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Before joining the firm, Mr. Kamara was an Assistant District Attorney handling trials at the Richmond County District Attorney's office assigned to the General Crimes Bureau.
Samuel A. Kamara was admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He received his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School and his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Michael Zeleznock, Esq., Partner
Michael Zeleznock is a partner of the firm and joined in 2006. His practice concentration includes all aspects of insurance litigation, including but not limited to 1stand 3rd party litigation, coverage disputes, and jurisdiction issues. Mr. Zeleznock has successfully defended thousands of cases on behalf of the firm's clients from inception to verdict.
Mr. Zeleznock chairs the debt collection department of the firm. He is regularly engaged in handling insurance matters for private and public carriers as well as collection cases for public authorities and private banking institutions. Additionally, he is the lead trial attorney in the office, engaged in the office's declaratory judgment, subrogation, and intercompany arbitration cases.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Zeleznock was a mediator for the Community Legal Assistance Corporation. His prior practice areas included construction and energy-regulation law.
Mr. Zeleznock was admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from Hofstra University School of Law. He is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, in Political Science with a minor in Psychology. Mr. Zeleznock is a member of various State and County Bar Associations.

Adam Kass, Esq., PArtner
Adam Kass has been licensed to practice law in New York since 2004. He is a graduate of Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York At Albany. Mr. Kass manages the Long Island Law Office. He maintains and oversees files involving Nassau and Suffolk County venues.
Mr. Kass is an experienced trial insurance litigator in first-party benefits, successfully handling thousands of first-party benefits cases in the New York State Court system, Appellate courts as well as many arbitration forums. He regularly advises insurance companies on New York State insurance laws and regulations. Mr. Kass’s expertise includes successful trial practice, brief and motion drafting in all first-party issues including, but not limited to, the medical necessity, NYS Workers Compensation Fee Schedule, policy violations (including 45 days, EUO, IME No Show, fraud), prima facie evidence, the interpretation of the NYS Workers' Compensation fee schedule, the sufficiency of expert testimony, issues on minors and the competency of witnesses.
Additionally, Mr. Kass has represented insurance companies and their clients in all aspects of bodily injury, negligence, and property law from the inception of the litigation to trial.
He has conducted hundreds of insurance litigation trials for his clients.

Edward R. Marion, Esq., Of Counsel
Ed Marion, a graduate of St. John’s Law School, has been licensed to practice law in New York since 1993. He is a former New York State Court Officer and former Court Attorney assigned to the Housing Parts of the Civil Court of the City of New York.
Ed has covered thousands of no-fault, personal injury court appearances, motions, conferences and depositions as per diem counsel to several hundred law firm clients.
Ed is a seasoned court attorney handling matters across the New York Courts including trials, court appearances, motion practice and arbitrations on no-fault insurance matters.

RONALD LEVINSON, ESQ, SPECIAL COUNSEL
Ronald Levinson has recently joined the firm after 25 years of representing hard working families in all types of cases including personal injury, civil rights, criminal defense and general litigation. He founded one of Long Island’s top firms and is widely known amongst New York area attorneys as the “Lawyer’s Lawyer.” He has worked with dozens of law firms and handles all aspects of trial preparation and presentation while securing over 100 jury verdicts in both state and federal courts. He has successfully handled and tried cases for numerous insurance companies and self-insured companies and individuals that have been sued for all types of alleged wrongs.
Ron has been recognized as one of the top trial attorneys in New York and is among a select group of attorneys to be named to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern University in 1992 with a double major in Political Science and History he went on to obtain his Juris Doctor in 1998 from St. John’s University School of Law. At Northeastern he was a four-year letterman and captain of the varsity Golf Team earning many honors and a victory in the Greater Boston Championship. While earning his law degree he served as the Sports Editor for the School paper and clerked for a top insurance defense firm and the Nassau County District Attorney’s office.
Ron grew up in Long Island and is happily married and the father of two boys. He volunteers his time as a community little league baseball and football coach and has used his golf background to serve as a golf instructor for the First Tee youth development organization.
He is admitted in Good Standing to the New York State Bar, United States Eastern District of New York, United States Southern District of New York, Admitted in Good Standing to the New York State Bar, United States Eastern District of New York, United States Southern District of New York and distinguished member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
